  • Finance Symposium Update

    So far two sessions of the 6th Annual Finance Symposium has been completed. The last one will be August 8th and 9th. If you want more information about signing up for that session please see the previous post.

  • 6th Annual JR3 WebSmart Finance Symposiums

    There are three sessions of the 6th Annual JR3 WebSmart Finance Symposium this Summer. The two-day symposium covers the processes required to prepare for the 2017-2018 school year for HR/Payroll and for Finance/Budget preparation. The sessions are interactive so bring your laptops and be ready to work through the processes and ask questions. Seating is limited so reserve your place now.

  • TSCS Conference Update

    Thanks to all those who stopped by our booth at the TCSA Annual Conference. It was gratifying to demonstrate our new products and services to so many Charter holders and staff. Suffice it to say, we are excited to deploy those products to the benefit of your school and the students they serve while holding down costs cost below comparable one-off standalone products.

    For those who did not get an opportunity to come by our booth, we would love the opportunity to speak with you at your convenience and demonstrate and support what some are calling the best new “game changing” products, available from a single source, ever introduced at the conference.

  • 2016 Finance Symposia

    The last section of the 2016 Financial Symposium has come to an end. This summer we served 41 people representing 18 schools/districts. WebSmart staff covered two extensive days of training covering end of year procedures for HR/Payroll and Finance, updates to WebSmart including mandated TRS changes, and how to easily make wage allocation changes on positions. As always, participants had ample time to work on their own end-of-year procedures such as entering pay periods, reviewing leave balances and policies, promoting contracts; reviewing ledgers, budgets, vendor transactions, federal grants, % allocation of program intent codes, and much more, with JR3 staff available to guide them through the process, even during interval and lunch breaks.

    While the Finance Symposium is over for 2016, the following handouts used at the symposium are available for anyone.

    If you missed this year’s training, start planning to attend next summer.  Training dates are not yet available; however, we plan to have two sessions in June and one session in July. Keep checking back for upcoming training dates and information.

  • Summer PEIMS Training

    We will be holding our annual Summer PEIMS Training this May. We will be covering the TSDS PEIMS process. Schools not completing PEIMS through TSDS are welcome to attend and learn the new process all schools will use next year.

  • Fall PEIMS Training – Edit+ and TSDS

    We will be hosting a 2 day PEIMS training for Fall PEIMS. Day 1 will cover data review and Edit+, Day 2 will focus on the new TSDS method. Come for one day or both. We will spend the afternoons working hands on.
